When Mühldorfer Company was launched and what hotel was your first customer?
- Mühldorfer was founded in 1919 in Germany / Bavaria / Haidmühle. The CEOs Maximiliana Pangerl and Elisabeth Hintermann were 25 and 20 years old when they took over their father's company in 1987, in fourth generation. In 1993, a fair in Dubai brought the Breakthrough. The sisters made their first contacts with the hotel industry in the Middle East. Four years later this commitment paid off:

- We still have the great privilege working together with Burj Al Arab. For the 7* hotel, we deliver our high-end Eiderdown Duvet and we also receive re-orders for their bedding.
Our main business partner is the 4-5* hotel industry worldwide. Your factory is located in Bavaria. Do you expand your manufacture to some other countries like many companies have moved their fabrics to China?
- Since beginning of Mühldorfer in 1919, there is only one product site – in Germany / Bavaria / Haidmühle.
The down and feathers processed by Mühldorfer are washed in the lime-free mountain spring water of the Bavarian Forest and are heated in the steam dryer above 120 ° C. When leaving the house, the down and feathers are free of dust, sterilized, purified and odorless and thus hypo-allergic. We only buy down and feather from reginal and European farmers with which we have longstanding and trustful business relationships.
Mühldorfer is 100 years old company this year! Congratulation with incredible date! Let me ask, what was the biggest challenge during these years?
- Mühldorfer had experienced and survived many historical events, however for us, the current COVID-19 pandemic crisis is a very big challenge, as the end is such unpredictable.
